Advantages of a Volkswagen inspection
Why to check the Volkswagen VIN number with the decoder
The Volkswagen VIN decoder allows you to obtain information about the vehicle's history, including the number of previous owners, the assembly plant, the exact model, the configuration, and any modifications made to the design. The programme also allows you to find out whether the car is under arrest, stolen, or listed as missing. Detecting such problems makes it possible to avoid a dishonest transaction and refuse to buy. Among other things, checking the Volkswagen VIN code allows you to find out the technical characteristics of the car (engine type, gearbox, configuration) and compare them with its actual condition. This is important in order to register the car without any problems after purchase.

Where the Volkswagen VIN number is located
Many Volkswagen owners who have not previously owned a car of this brand do not know where to find the VIN. The most common locations for the unique number are:
- door pillar;
- driver's door sill;
- under the bonnet: left side member, left shock absorber cup, radiator frame;
- the upper part of the dashboard, where the windscreen begins on the driver's side;
- under the passenger's feet on the front right under the carpet trim.
If you cannot find the code on the car or not all of its characters are legible, the VIN is always indicated in the vehicle documents.
