Why to check the Volvo VIN number with the decoder
It is essential to check Volvo by VIN to ensure your safety during the transaction. This way, you can be sure that the car is not listed as stolen or impounded. Where the Volvo VIN number is located
Many owners do not know where the VIN number is located on a Volvo. The most common locations in a car are:
- on the dashboard: on a special metal plate attached to the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel;
- on the left front door pillar;
- on a special sticker or engraved on metal in the arch between the front and rear doors;
- under the steering column;
- in the engine compartment, on the engine cover or on the frame.
If you cannot find the VIN in any of these places, you can find it in the vehicle registration document.
